Ingredients
for 4 servings
- 500 g Pea
- 1 pc Cauliflower
- 200 g Bacon
Method
Divide the cauliflower into smaller florets.
Place two-thirds of the peas in the pot along with the cauliflower.
Pour water so that the vegetables are approximately half submerged, add salt and bring to a boil.
Cook for approximately 20 minutes until tender, stirring occasionally during cooking.
Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a pan until golden brown.
Add the remaining third of the peas and sauté together for another 5–7 minutes.
Drain the cooked vegetables lightly (reserve some of the liquid).
Blend until smooth. If it is too thick, add a little of the reserved cooking water.
Mix the sauce with the cooked side dish of your choice (such as pasta, rice or gnocchi).
Finally, garnish with toasted bacon and sautéed peas.
